EMILY DICKINSON THEN AND NOW
| ||
|
Commissioned by Goliard concerts, "Kids Classics." This work pairs a traditional hymn and fuguing tune with a soft swinging rhythm and blues setting of two elegant thought provoking Dickinson poems. The second setting incorporates a beautiful harmonica solo which can be provided live by the composer, making this lush work a unique crowd pleasing experience for children and adults. |

MASS FOR THE ORATORY

This mass, primarily for use in ordinary time (where no special feast occurs) was commissioned by the Church of St. Boniface in Brooklyn, NY. Nearly every section of this Mass integrates traditional chants or hymns designated for ordinary use in the Roman liturgy. The results weave sacred tradition into a beautiful contemporary setting.
